Call Recording Plus Transcripts App Reviews

Love the transcripts generated for all the call recordings. I though I had to pay extra $$ for these transcripts but was pleasantly surprised its included with the initial purchase!! Goo deal for all users imo. It captres names and telephone numbers very well.

I am a happy user with over 100 recordings delivered by email. Recordings are crystal clear. The transcripts are really useful coz they highlight telephone numbers in my conversations. I can go back and pull up numbers and dial them in one-click from these transcripts.

I run a small biz out of my garage and take customer calls all day myself. I have been using this app to remind myself about what exactly a customer said/ordered. The automatic emails delivered to my inbox (seconds after I end my call) are another reminder. I upload these to dropbox via the links in the email in one-click. Very easy to use and very reliable.

Down loaded app to an iPhone 5c and after making test call and trying to save settings the app gets locked in to " saving settings remotely" and will not recover! Would not use again, and dont recommend

I am not very phone savvy. But worked my way round this app quite easily. Support was very very helpful but really didnt need too much hand holding. I record my conversations with family. I love to share the emails with my friends and it has never failed me yet. The app is priced just right for me too.

First Off, I have major security concerns with this because not only are the domain and its 4 DNS servers hosted in Libya, but so are your recordings. Dont let the fact that the domain is registered to sanjay krishnamurthy in Cupertino CA fool you... your recordings are retained on those offshore servers after your retrieval. There also appears to be no encryption put in place for those recordings transmissions. Not only that, but think about all the security breaches going on nowadays... Target, Home Depot etc. Even while your data (recordings) at at rest on these servers... If there is a breach then your data may be compromised. I also see that even tho the app costs about $6 USD, that only covers up to THREE recordings per month. Any more than that and there is an option to buy additional recordings. Im going to be expressing my concerns to Apple and requesting a refund of the app. .

Perfect tool for a journalist. All my important interviews are handled with ease by this app. I have an iPhone 5 btw

My verizon iphone 5c has been filling up with videos and voice memos. I was hunting for an audio recorder and a call recorder that allows me to offload my recordings to remote storage in the cloud. I stumbled across this app and gave it a shot last month. It has been working out great for me. I use it 4-5 times a day now. Serves all my needs as a journalist doing phone interviews. I think this app has a much broader audience andI hope you give it a shot and like it too!

This app works really well. And unlike other apps it can call and record conference calls as long as you merge the calls after dialing in. I love the free transcript feature!! The only issue is that it crashes when I attempt to delete items from the trash. Im using an iPhone 6 so Im not sure if this occurs on older devices. This can also pose an issue if you need to free up space. Ive not figured out a way to remove trash items successfully. The other problem is that you cant remove email options once you add them so dont click on the plus sign unless you plan on adding something useful.

Garbage, says to add call and not merge. Also going to certain pages leaves you with no option to return to the previous page. Cannot delete from trash. Did someone actually think having a trash folder was a good idea! Could not get it to record any calls.

My gut feeling is this app will definitely go up in price. Its currently half of the other apps’ prices and does a ton of stuff very well. No beeps (thank you!). And pulling telephone numbers from 1-2 hour long transcripts is trivial (they are highlighted in the transcripts). I would remove the Test button form the app (don’t know why one needs it). Also, allow users to search across all recordings’ transcripts for keywords or numbers. Awesome job guys!!

Does what is described. Very convenient to download recordings as mp3 files to my laptop. Emails with links arrive in my inbox in under 2-3 minutes in most cases. I do phone interviews for my masters project. The transcripts are crucial to my work-this seems to be the only app in the iTunes store (I looked at a bunch of apps). I cannot find any app delivering text for recordings. When I browse thru old recordings, these transcripts save me a ton of time. I can scan an hour long conversation in 10 seconds. Try doing this with any app that doesn’t do text. I guarantee you it will take you at least 30 minutes to listen to a 2 hr recording to find something in it.

iOS8 and iPhone 5s, Entering your number is fine but then there is no continue/tab key to enter your email address, the keyboard screen cuts off the email entry field so you can not see what you are entering, there is no tab to next entry field. To enter your email to mail the transcripts to you have to press “done” on the kybd. then, put the cursor in the email entry box and type blindly. Also when going to the Audio recordings screen sometimes it does not show my previous recordings leaving me the only option but to kill the app and restart it. In short the App works but the screen design and flow seem buggy and of shareware quality not a polished application.

I am easily intimidated by complexity - but getting productive after entering one sparse simple screen of settings is perfect! Its simple, elegant and your first email is delivered to your email id in 20 seconds. I switched from an iPhone 5 to a 6 recently. I sent email to the developer about the recordings on my old phone. They responded in minutes - and transferred all my old recordings to my new phone. I have done recordings of 2 hours length and have had no problems.

Beautiful app! Genius! I wish I had this a few weeks ago, it would have saved me from a lot of hot water. The "Full English Transcript" needs some work, though: its not deciphering every word, but that may just be because I am Liberian and I usually speak in an English-dialect. All-in-all... I love this sucker!!!

Used this app one time or year ago. It worked like a dream. I used it twice this week and both times the link for the transcript of the calls shows error messages. My emails to the company to have this corrected and get the transcripts that I need have gone unanswered. I love this app and what it does but right now its not doing what its supposed to do and I am frustrated and cannot recommend it.

Dont waste your money -- this app does not work. After paying to download, the app told me the US phone number Ive had for 10 years is invalid. Tech/Customer service never responded to me. Dont make the same mistake I did -- avoid this scam.

Took a noobie like me 10 seconds to enter my details and receive a test call from the recorder. Support has been great for all my silly questions. I do 30 recordings per day-and all are flawless.

App will not save data. Unusable.

Does what is described-saved my settings. Tested my settings. Started recording by merging the recorder call and my dialed calls. Easy...
