Junk

Useless Junk! I dont want to have to call another number and merge to record, I simply want to record! Refund please. This is useless to me.

DO NOT BUY SCAM

I bought this and it tested fine. However when it came time that I needed it for an interview the number to call out to kept getting a busy signal. Do not buy this it is a scam. The number I called to contact support was just a Voice mail box. The only thing I could do was leave a message after the beep.

Can I have a refund immediately

Placed 1 call in my home with both full bars of cellular and wifi. Call dropped within 32 seconds.

Simple, efficient

Saved my settings in the app a year ago-and have been a happy user (2-3 recs per day) since.

Simple-has worked for a year

Saved my settings and pressed the call button. After pressing merge calls, the app did the rest.

Bad recorder

This recorder does not really work for any incoming calls. For outgoing calls it is also bad I cannot understand. It just doesnt work for iPhone 6. I would not recommend it to anybody. Thank you

Free transcripts….cool!!

Pressing the merge calls button initiated recordings. I have done numerous incoming and outgoing calls. Works great. The text links in the emails and the transcript previews inside the app separate this app from the crowd.

No Customer Service Line!

Ive been using this app for over three months and didnt have any problems; in fact, the transcripts and recording came into my email inbox within 1 to 2 minutes which was impressive. However, when I hit a snag and the recording stopped after five minutes on an hour and a half call, I tried contacting their customer service via email with no success. Its been a few days and I havent heard from anyone from Infinear, the parent company. When it works its great but when you need to speak to someone, they are non-existent. Buyer Beware!

Scanning telephone numbers in transcripts

is so cool! Very nice thing that separates this app from the rest of the crowd. Customer service is also pretty efficient-contacted them a few times for missing transcripts. They showed up automatically a few minutes later. But I always got followup email from ahandsfreely at gmail dot com from where I get my recordings too

Dont bother

Really poor transcription quality. Entire sections with only a few words correct.

No speakers == great quality transcripts

It was hit or miss for a while but I finally figured it out. My iPhone 5c speakers produce terrible transcripts. I now use a wired headset or speak directly into the phone. And the transcripts have become really really useful. This is the transcript I got from ALL the other recording apps btw: “ “ ie zilch, nada

Good recordings

clear, with transcripts.

Didnt work. Requested refund.

Received blank transcripts, and links to silent MP3s. No readily available customer service.

Great companion for on-the-road journalist

Handy tool works with clear audio quality. Not had any issues with the transcripts either. Had to avoid speaker phones for better text quality but can’t complain. Compared to $$ per minute for transcription services, this is a good substitute

Handy

Works as described; would recommend

Excellent App

Ive been using this app for years. This is the first review I have ever done, because I felt this app deserved it. This app has helped me in a lawsuit I was in the last two years. It helps me remember conversations that I had with my boss and things that I need to do. Its just fantastic so simple. Just wonderfully simple and useful technology

Clear technology winner

Other apps look and feel like 10 year old technlogy. In 2015/16 I would have imagined iphone apps wouldbe competing at delivering innovative technologies. What I see instead is developers competing on app names (call recorder, call recorder pro, call recording, call recording pro)-and only one app gives me text from my phone calls. So enough with the names already! Give me compelling apps, not recycled names!

Neat

I crossed a major milestone as a very satisfied app user this week-my 500th call recording!! I have thrown everything I could possible imagine at this app-and it rocks! Simple steps to merge calls are mandatory. Then you sit back and wait for the emails with recordings to show up in your inbox.

Takes way too long to record incoming calls

The merge a call message from the app takes about 42 seconds, way too long to have the incoming call to stay on hold till you merge the calls.

Not good enough

I can barely hear the recordings. I checked my sound and everything on my end, its definitely the app. Also the transcript is nothing like the conversation. It gets maybe two out of every ten words right, so the transcripts look like gibberish.
