Call Recording Plus Transcripts App Reviews

The first few recordings, I had a sinking feeling the other reviewers were correct. I turned up the volume setting on my laptop and couldn’t hear anything! Turns out I was missing a crucial merge step while setting up the recorder. The app calls the recorder service; you then dial your contact. Then you merge the two calls to create a conference call. You are prompted several times by the app too. I wish the app recognized I had forgotten to merge and sent me an alert or something. That would be cool!

Got a few important recordings done painlessly

I expected a big rampup period to learning this app (am a novice user). But entering/saving my details took 10 seconds. Then my first recording took a few minutes to show up in my inbox. I got an alert notification on my phone too that an email had been sent to my inbox. All features work great! I would recommend these enhancements to make it more useful. I dont mind paying extra for these too: 1. Allow users to search the text transcripts. This is the ONLY app that delivers transcripts btw. So, might as well make them more search friendly 2. Allow me to login to a website to browse my recordings/transcripts. The phone screen is good to record but not ideal size to inspect transcripts. 3. Detect blank recordings automatically. If you can recognize speech, I am sure you can recognize silence too :) Warn me if my recording is blank and I missed merging calls.
